It's been decades since we've
had a true salesman's sample but we think this one will make up for that. It
was made by the Denver Trunk Manufactory in the 1880s. The original label is
inside the lid along with the original tray. The original working lock has a
key and the only things we've replaced are the leather handles and lid stay.
This is a museum-quality piece that does not need to be restored. We've only
cleaned it and resealed the inside to protect it. Doll-trunk in size it is
filled with historical significance since it's probably the only one like it
in existence. The outside of the trunk is covered in simulated canvas
embossed pattern. The staves are grooved hardwood and the trim is light
metal. It even has rollers on the bottom, still in excellent condition. If you like
