Rear Views of
1880s Half Trunk

You never have to hide the back or any other part of
our restorations.

Ditto
| This is the first half trunk
(sometimes called quarter trunk) we've found in over a decade! It survived its travels well so we
were able to keep all the original canvas on. Half/quarter trunks are, as
the names imply, about half or quarter the size of regular trunks. The canvas has been thoroughly
cleaned and resealed heavily just as it was when new, over 100 years ago.
The original lock still works well and an antique key is furnished. The
hardwood staves turned out very nicely. We were able to save the entire
interior including the decorative border; it has had a thorough cleaning and
has been resealed. Note the cast metal decorative corners at the bottom of
the sides. This size trunk fits into just about any decor and includes
secure storage space. We found it in Valdese, NC on one
of our trunk-hunting expeditions. If you like it as well as everyone here then don't hesitate to call
or email us right away before it gets snatched up (One trunk we posted
recently sold in less than two hours!). Just call us toll-free on 1-877-653-8786,
